A 5 Day Tour to Bac Giang Halong Bay and Cat Ba Island
7.00 AM: you will be met up with Lotussia Travel team at your hotel in Hanoi (please advise upon your confirmation). Depart for Bac Giang province. You travel north following the National Road # 1.
After about 1.5 hour drive, you arrive in Yen Dung where you make the first stop for visiting the Vinh Nghiem pagoda. After spending about a half hour for the site, you continue the road trip up to the northeast. You travel through Chu, the country's largest litchi producer, arriving in Son Dong around noon.
Lunch is provided in a local restaurant in town.
In the afternoon, enjoy about 2 hour trekking on a dirt road.
Check into a local guesthouse for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Khau Tron Trek (B,L).
You begin the trek by starting going uphill. You trek for about a hour and a half before arriving in Khau Tron summit where you stop for a short rest and take some picture.
Continue your hike going downhill to Khe Tron. The trek takes about a hour before you arrive in Khe Tron lake. This is a small lake is made up by the crossing of the two streams. The lake offers clear and cool water is great for a swim.
Dinner and overnight at local home.
Day 3: Bac Giang – Ha Long Bay (B,L,D).
Transfer to Halong bay.
Upon arrival in Ha Long, enjoy welcomed drinks, then check in traditional style cabin. Have Vietnamese lunch while passing Fighting Cocks rock. Visit Sung Sot cave with numerous stalactites and stalagmites. Then you can kayak to discover mysterious beauty of Ha Long up close. Next, visit Ti Top island about one hour, an ideal place for swimming and sunbathing. Get back the cruise to relax on the sundeck, have a shower and enjoy seafood dinner in the restaurant. For the evening entertainment, there will be squid fishing. Then off to bed.
Day 4: Lan Ha Bay - Monkey Island - Cat Ba Town (B,L,D).
After breakfast, continue the trip with a visit to Pearl farm where you can see real pearl products and how people breed pearls. Then boat goes to Van Gia fishing village and change to a smaller boat cruising south to Lan Ha bay visit isolated Monkey Island, the home of wild monkeys and endangered white head langurs back on the cruise having lunch and The boat stops at Viet Hai wharf. There, you will be provided a bicycle for a 5 km ride through the jungle to Whisper of Nature Bungalow in Viet Hai village. Have a short trek inside Cat Ba National Park. Have dinner and overnight stay in Whisper nature bungalow.
Day 5: Cat Ba – Halong – Hanoi (B,L):
After breakfast at bungalow , Cycling to Beo harbor for the cruise back to Ha Long bay. Get changed to our boat in Van Gia fishing village. Relax on the top deck for sunbathing and photos. After finishing cruising approximate 11:45am, take the bus to a local restaurant for lunch. Return to Hanoi. Have a short break within 20 minutes in Hai Duong city for refreshments. Arriving in Hanoi approximate 5:30pm. Tour ends.
